Our Founding Trainer's Journey
Peter Tiliacos' journey began a few years ago, after a consultation with his doctor. The fact was that his lifestyle of fast food, no exercise and sitting in front of a computer all day had finally taken it's toll. A recipe for disaster. Peter's doctor had explained that his lifestyle was heading towards diabetes and heart disease. Drastic action needed to be taken to turn this around.
After putting together a plan that consisted of a healthy diet and exercise, Peter gradually lost a substantial amount of weight and is now enjoying a healthy lifestyle and everything life has to offer.
After changing his life, Peter is passionate and dedicated to changing the life of others. Peter attended and graduated from the Australian Institute of Fitness where he has obtained his Master Certificate in Fitness, Certificate IV in Personal Training and Certificate III in Gym Instruction.
Since Peter founded FIT to the CORE in 2006, he has changed the lives of many people, of all ages, through his knowledge, experience and unique training plan. Once obese himself, Peter understands and knows exactly what is required and needed to achieve your required fitness goals and will do what ever it takes to help you achieve them.

Before completing the 2007 42.2km Melbourne Marathon and the 250km Around the Bay in a Day bike ride just two weeks later, Peter was featured in the local Moreland Leader for his amazing achievements. Peter also finished 2nd in the 2007 Zatopek 10000 meter Classic.
